This rectangle argentium silver pendant is approximately 1 1/2" by 3/4". It is cut from 24 gauge argentium silver and has a 14 gauge square wire rim and embellishments.
I formed the square wire into a rectangle with curved edges and then fused it to the backplate. I then added the embellishments by fusing them to the backplate.
It has an articulated bail which means the bail is attached in a way where it moves.
The chain is a rolo argentium silver chain with a handmade clasp.
I put a liver of sulfur patina on the entire piece and then gently removed it in high areas to highlight the square wire. The chain and clasp also has a patina to match the pendant but on the clasp I have removed some just as on the pendant.
Once done I placed the entire piece into the tumbler for 2 hours to bring it to a high shine.
The chain is 18".
